Congratulations to our 2022-2023 Scholarship & Fellowship Recipients!
“When envisioning the future of North Texas, increasing access to education in the architecture and design fields is essential to help foster the future architects, designers, and leaders of our communities. The investment that our scholarship and fellowship programs make in these students and young professionals today will create a lasting legacy of design education for future generations.”

2022 Scholarship Breakfast
The Architecture and Design Foundation is proud to award a variety of scholarships and fellowships each year to support the next generation of architects by providing tuition support, travel funds, and research funds for high school students, college students, and professionals. This year, the AD EX received a record number of applications for the 15 scholarships and fellowships available, 87 applications from 46 applicants!
On Thursday, July 28th, the Foundation welcomed the 2022-2023 scholarship and fellowship recipients, their families, and the donors who make the scholarships and fellowships possible to a Scholarship Breakfast to recognize the recipients. Also recognized were the winners of the Art of Architecture competition, juried art competition for high school students that encourages the study the visual aspects of architecture and express their observations creatively.
In addition, The Foundation was happy to present a $30,000 check to Camp Summit, a camp for individuals with disabilities where the emphasis is on each campers' abilities rather than their disabilities. This community grant was made possible by proceeds from the inaugural Impact Dallas Gala and the gift will help make the 2021 AIA Dallas Emerging Leaders Program’s designs for a welcome center, wayfinding, and more, a reality.
Applications for the 2023-2024 Architecture and Design Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships will open on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
