Purpose
The Spillman Scholarship is to commemorate the contributions of Pat Yates Spillman, FAIA to the City of Dallas, the Texas architectural community and the many non‐profit organizations that he supported through his time and leadership. Pat was a graduate of Texas A&M University and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He also attended Yale University and was a Fulbright Scholarship recipient. His passion for education resonated throughout his career in the many commissions that he received at universities throughout the State of Texas. Pat mentored many architects through his private practice and his leadership in the American Institute of Architects locally, and nationally.
