Nominations will be reviewed by the AIA Dallas | Architecture and Design Foundation Gala Committee and the selected recipient will be approved by the Architecture and Design Foundation Board of Directors. One recipient will be selected each year.
To nominate an individual or organization, complete our online nomination form by midnight on Thursday, June 24th, 2021. Provide all of the information requested in the form, including nominee and nominator contact information, and narrative answers to the following questions:
- Describe the impact this individual or organization has had in the Dallas/Fort Worth or North Texas region.
- How has this impact been transformative or innovative over the past 7 or more years?
- For individual nominations only: What has this individual’s role been in creating the impacts described in Questions 1 and 2 versus that of the organization?
- For organization nominations only: List the individuals involved in this organization’s success. These can include past and current leadership, staff, volunteers, and community members.
Up to three (3) links to websites, articles, or information about the nominee may also be included in the form. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
Criteria for selection:
Organizations: The nominee demonstrates the transformative impact of their portfolio of work in the Dallas/North Texas area. This is NOT intended to recognize a single project, but the work done by this organization overall.
Individuals: The nominee’s involvement and innovations (spanning at least the last 7 years) are identified as key to the transformative impacts that were created by their portfolio of work. Can include work done by this individual at more than one organization or business.
