Designing My Future: K-12 Camp Series
We are proud to offer Designing My Future K-12 Camps, hands-on experiences that invite students ages 6–18 to explore architecture, design, and the world around them. Through creative challenges, real-world projects, and connections with architecture students and professionals, campers explore fundamental design principles, build problem-solving skills, and gain insight into careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
Every camp offers a new way to experience design. Students explore downtown landmarks, visit local architecture firms, take on scavenger hunts and design challenges, experiment with 3D modeling, and build their own structures. Along the way, they gain technical learning through hands-on activities while developing confidence in sharing ideas, collaborating with others, and turning creative thinking into something tangible.
Most importantly, Designing My Future gives young people the opportunity to see architecture as something they can participate in—not simply something they observe. Campers leave with new skills, new perspectives, and the confidence to imagine what they can create.
