The Architecture and Design Foundation awards a variety of academic scholarships, travel and research fellowships, and professional development grants to make careers in architecture more accessible.
Scholarships & Fellowships
The Foundation awards more than $60,000 annually to make college and careers in architecture accessible and bring diversity and equity to our related professions.
Scholarships may be applied to tuition and other college expenses and are typically distributed directly to a student's university account. Fellowships are traditionally made in two payments: one upon award and one after the project and required deliverables are complete.
The 2026 application cycle opens Saturday, October 11, 2025, with an extended deadline of February 20, 2026. Recipients will be recognized at a Scholarship & Awards Breakfast in June 5, 2026.
