2024 Bill Millsap Fellowship: The Art of Landscape Architecture

A stipend to inspire students and young professionals in their study of the intersection of art, landscape architecture, and the cultural and personal relationships inspired by these pursuits. This stipend is envisioned to help facilitate a supplemental experience, research project or experiment in art or creative landscape expression. Proposals may include, but are not limited to travel, art creation, digital conceptualization, temporary installation, interviews, research, or other collaborative experiences. It may not be used simply for tuition expenses.

– Undergraduate students in their 4th or 5th year of study from an accredited school of landscape architecture in the United States. – Graduate students in their 1st through 3rd year of study from an accredited school of landscape architecture in the United States. – Recent graduates in landscape architecture not having worked more than 3 years in the United States. Preference may be given to dual-degree students (landscape architecture and art) or landscape architecture students with an art minor.

The scholarship must be used in the year it is awarded. If the funds are not used in this time period, they will be forfeited. Recipients are encouraged to attend the AD EX Scholarship & Awards Reception on Thursday, May 30, 2024 and write a thank you note to the scholarship donor(s). Additional information including headshot and biographical information will be requested from each recipient.
