Event Details

Japan has a strong connection to spirituality and nature, and this is apparent in its architecture. Experiencing the spaces firsthand, evokes a feeling of peace and serenity that you couldn’t have felt through a photo. Using Japan as a case study, I want to explore how culture and religion can shape a country’s architecture and atmosphere. Through my journey from Osaka to Naoshima, I plan to offer a small glimpse of the country’s beautiful architecture. Read about Alden’s travels here.

Join us Thursday, May 14 for our VIRTUAL Lunch Learning Session to hear from Alden and to be a part of the conversation. The presentation will begin at noon and will be followed by a moderated Q&A session. The event is free and open to the public. Register here.
