Event Details

Appropriately, as we open an exhibition on the architecture of Charles Dilbeck featuring large-scale photography of some of his designs, we’ll look at one of the most famous architectural photographers who ever worked in the United States.

Julius Shulman helped bring modern architecture to the American mainstream, capturing the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, John Lautner, and Frank Gehry. Some of his images of Southern California architecture have become some of the most iconic architecture photos ever taken.

Due to the length of the film, the screening will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. Bring your lunch and join in the screening and conversation. To RSVP, e-mail Please include LLS-Shulman in the subject line.
