Lunch Learning Session: Krista Nightengale of The Better Block

Krista Nightengale, the managing director of the Better Block, will talk about what, exactly, is the Better Block. She’ll discuss the concept of tactical urbanism, some projects that have gone well, and some that have not. She’ll also talk about how to use digital fabrication to remake neighborhoods.

Bring your sack lunch for a small, casual discussion about how this organization is working to make our world better one block at a time. We’ll gather and begin lunch at 11:30 a.m. Krista’s presentation will begin at noon.
