Event Details

Kaylee Lamb is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington and recipient of the 2019 Mary Kolb-Berglund Traveling Fellowship from the Architecture and Design Foundation. What is the true value of a beautiful building if it’s hurting the environment around it? That’s the question she considered as she elected to study the architecture of Noway, which is frequently lauded for being one of the leading countries on sustainable architecture. Her reseach across Norway— from Oslo and Trondheim—proves sustainability is not just good for the environment, but for public image, pride, and the future economy. Norwegians have put quality first and it shows in their land and international image. Learn more about Kaylee’s research here.

What lessons can we learn from Norway? Join us Thursday, April 30 for our first-ever VIRTUAL Lunch Learning Session to hear from Kaylee and to be a part of the conversation. The presentation will begin at noon and will be followed by a moderated Q&A session. The event is free and open to the public. Register here.
