2024 Research & Travel Fellowship Exhibition

GUIDE TO ARCHITECTURAL DESTINATIONS: An Ongoing Exhibition Featuring the Work of Architecture Travel Fellowship Recipients

We invite you to explore GUIDE TO ARCHITECTURAL DESTINATIONS, an evolving exhibition that captures the travel journeys and research of the Architecture and Design Foundation’s fellowship recipients. Designed like a newspaper, the exhibition opens with a map highlighting the places our recipients have explored.

Each “page” of the exhibition features a unique project, exploring how design shapes our understanding of place. From landscape representation to architectural preservation, the exhibition presents a variety of topics, with new research and recipients being featured over time.

Exhibition Highlights:

  • Ben Henschen, 2024 Bill Millsap Fellow, explores how sketches and film communicate the essence of landscapes, with a focus on Lawrence Halprin’s Yosemite Falls Corridor and Luca Werner’s Lupine.
  • Dianna Hodza, 2024 McDermott Travel Fellow, investigates Croatia’s architectural heritage, highlighting the intersection of preservation and modernization in cities like Dubrovnik.

As the exhibition continues to evolve, it will offer fresh insights from new fellows and their unique projects, each contributing to the ongoing narrative of design and place.

Exhibition Dates: May 9 – June 13
