The IMPACT DALLAS GALA celebrates the impact of architecture and design in our community.
The Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Architecture and Design Foundation are thrilled to announce the Impact Dallas Gala, a black tie event to be held on Thursday, October 6 at The National in downtown Dallas. Impact Dallas celebrates the role design plays in solving real-world problems, connecting communities, and improving peoples’ lives. Impacting our region is a task that extends beyond architects; it is a collaboration between community leaders, philanthropists, and all stakeholders who are striving to improve our city. Funds raised will continue The Architecture and Design Foundation’s mission to foster access to architecture and design for all.
The event will honor the award recipients for the AIA Dallas Lifetime Achievement Award and the AD EX Community Cornerstone Award.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 in support of design excellence, community impact, and the future generations of Dallas architects.
The funds raised at the Impact Dallas Gala are invested directly into grants to community projects, support for architecture and design education, operations, and public programs. The gala provides essential funding for:
- the Foundation’s year-round public programs and exhibitions that promote the value of architecture to local residents and visitors,
- they are invested in the Foundation’s endowment funds to support the next generation of architects in North Texas, and
- they provide grants that directly fund community projects that exemplify how architecture can positively impact our everyday life.
The IMPACT DALLAS GALA is co-hosted by the Architecture and Design Foundation and AIA Dallas. For additional information, please contact Elizabeth Jones at ejones@aiadallas.org.
