Kevin is a Principal Architect and Behavioral Healthcare Consultant with human experience, a design firm dedicated to the belief that every human has value.

Over 25 years of practice with PFVS, RTKL, The Freelon Group and Perkins+Will, Kevin has become a recognized leader in the design and operations of behavioral healthcare facilities. He has designed 2 million s.f. from North Carolina to Hawaii and regularly speaks and writes on the subject.

In addition to designing therapeutic spaces for those with severe mental illness, Kevin is also actively engaged in planning solutions for affordable and attainable housing. As an architect, his mission has always been to design buildings that matter. People who are mentally ill, developmentally disabled, homeless or underemployed are often marginalized in our society. By providing them with safe, healthy, dignified buildings we show our commitment to their value as humans.
